What is a CDRS Team?
In today's market, many Brokers and Agents are finding it beneficial to focus their internal manpower and pool their financial resources in order to help a larger number of homeowners. A CDRS Team is specifically designed for two or more people who work and close all transactions as one unit. There isn't a "one size fits all" definition of a team, but for pricing purposes, we have broken it down in increments of four people or fewer. Each team is required to be comprised of at least one licensed real estate agent and up to three other members, licensed or unlicensed, who have all completed the CDRS Advanced Short Sale Workshop, which is the education requirement for the CDRS Certification.
What is included in a CDRS Team Membership?
Each CDRS Team will get one Instruction Guide to share, the Short Sale Calculator Software Program downloadable on up to four computers, a shared login to the Short Sale Q&A Forum, shared access to Lender Short Sale Packages and Loss Mitigation Contact Information, shared access to the CDRS Member Cafe, a team listing on the CDRS Network Map for up to 5 zip codes, a team certificate and CDRS digital logos.
What is the cost of the CDRS Team Membership?
Each team will pay $597 (Retail) for the first team member and $147 for each additional team member up to a total of four team members. The annual renewal fee will be $95 for the team.
What if I have more than four people on my team?
CDRS Team pricing is based on increments of four or fewer members, but that doesn't mean you are limited to only four members on your team. For example, should your team be comprised 20 people, you will pay $597 for five members and $147 for the other 15 members. You will get five Instruction Guides (Digital Version) to share, the Short Sale Calculator Software Program downloadable on up to twenty computers, a shared login to the Short Sale Q&A Forum, shared access to Lender Short Sale Packages and Loss Mitigation Contact Information, shared access to the CDRS Resource Center, a team listing on the CDRS Network map with 25 zip codes, a team certificate and CDRS digital logos.
What is the difference between a CDRS Gold Team and a CDRS Silver Team?
A CDRS Gold Team has at least one team member who has closed three or more Short Sale transactions as the Listing Agent within the previous 12 months. A Silver Team has closed fewer than three Short Sale transactions as the Listing Agent within the last 12 months. When someone pulls up a specific zip code on the CDRS Network Map, CDRS Gold Teams will be listed before CDRS Silver Teams in each zip code.
What if a CDRS Team Member leaves the team?
The CDRS Team will hold the certification as a team, not as individuals. Therefore, if a member leaves the team they can no longer consider themselves a CDRS Member or use the CDRS logo unless they contact us to transfer their membership from a CDRS Team Member to that of an individual CDRS Member. They will also need to pay the difference between the cost of their team membership and the regular individual CDRS Member pricing.
